Happy 17th Birthday, Lathara! It's a belated birthday, actually. I now consider L as my friend. Haha! Well, I took time to know her first. I thought I won't get along with her very much but with a couple of dates with her, group dates to be exact, I happen to actually like her. We get along well. She's a good friend to us. Literally and figuratively, she's just one call away. There are a lot of great things about her. She drives by herself, she owns a car, she has an unconventional fashion sense and she's just as crazy as we are! I want to add that she has been very thoughtful to us. She drives us home even though she lives far from the city. She takes time and gives effort to get to know each of us. It's funny 'cause I just got to know her because she was the classmate of my classmate in Ahead during their review classes last summer. Now, I could say that I am at ease and comfortable to mingle with her. I'm going to miss her when we all go to college. ♥Sara

On February 4, 5, and 6, I together with 3 of my classmates and our teacher will be going to Calapan City, Mindoro! Yay! I'm excited for this one because I'm fond of traveling. Though I'll be missing my other friends, I'm sure that my 3-day escapade in Mindoro will be a blast! Actually, it's not for vacation that we'll go there. We will be representing Region I in the upcoming National Science Quest. It makes me proud to say that for the first time, I will be participating in a national contest. Because of this, I am proud to say that my high school is the most prestigious and excellent one in our locale (Pangasinan).
Note: Expect pictures of our escapade, many pictures! ...and when I say many, I mean it. :P ♥Sara

 Sanity behind the Madness
I cannot explain how these mad girls keep me sane. Sure, we never really talk about everything every single day and I haven't been friends with them for the last eight years but they sure know me as far as anyone could go.
I enjoy their company a lot. Hanging around in "Kebab Marley" has already been a habit to us. We talk there, gossip there, study there and of course, eat there. (Note: Thanks to the generosity of Kuya Mark!) I take advices from them, sound ones. As I've stated before in another post, I am definitely captured or rather locked inside a box of confusion and my girls never hesitated a bit to keep me company. ;) ♥Sara

BIG 4

Good news! I passed for the four most recognized schools (from what I know) in our country, UP, AdMU, DLSU, and UST. That's a big achievement for me. Now, people won't belittle me as much as they do back in the days. I can tell them to look at what I've become today.
Now, it's decision time. Where will I study for college? Today, I realized that my brother's words to me were right, too. I shouldn't have taken too many college entrance tests, maybe two could've been better. I didn't took his piece of advice, I took four first, just to be open for choices and second, I was too afraid that I won't pass all of my tests. Now that the results are out, I found myself caught in this certain cacophony of confusion.
I don't know what course to take up and what school to enroll at. I have two general choices, to go medical in UP Manila or UST or go computer-ish in AdMU or DLSU. Honestly, AdMU is my dream school. I was really decided to go to AdMU if I passed. Then as the other results came out, I got very confused. It became harder and harder everyday. I try talking to my parents and instead of really helping me out through this, they actually made my burden heavier. (HAHAHA!) They told me that it's up to me.
I find this situation very hard for me to deal with. It's about my future and my decision will definitely make or break me. As of now, I'm still trying to decide where to study. I also want to concentrate on my remaining days as a high school student. I'll try to take things slow. ;) ♥Sara
Dream Job after Dream School..?

Look what I found! It's an article I saw at the Yahoo! Homepage. Come on, read on.
SYDNEY (AFP) – An Australian state is offering internationally what it calls "the best job in the world" -- earning a top salary for lazing around a beautiful tropical island for six months. The job pays 150,000 Australian dollars (105,000 US dollars) and includes free airfares from the winner's home country to Hamilton Island on the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland's state government announced on Tuesday. In return, the "island caretaker" will be expected to stroll the white sands, snorkel the reef, take care of "a few minor tasks" -- and report to a global audience via weekly blogs, photo diaries and video updates. The successful applicant, who will stay rent-free in a three-bedroom beach home complete with plunge pooland golf buggy, must be a good swimmer, excellent communicator and be able to speak and write English. "They'll also have to talk to media from time to time about what they're doing so they can't be too shy and they'll have to love the sea, the sun, the outdoors," said acting state Premier Paul Lucas. "The fact that they will be paid to explore the islands of the Great Barrier Reef, swim, snorkel and generally live the Queensland lifestyle makes this undoubtedly the best job in the world." Lucas said the campaign was part of a drive to protect the state's 18 billion Australian dollar a year tourism industry during the tough economic climate caused by the global financial meltdown. "Traditional tourism advertising just doesn't cut it sometimes and we are thinking outside the box by launching this campaign." Queensland Tourism Minister Desley Boyle said some people might question whether it was risky to let an unknown person become an unofficial tourism spokesperson for the state. "I think the biggest risk will be that the successful candidate won't want to go home at the end of the six months," she said. "This is a legitimate job which is open to anyone and everyone." Applications are open until February 22. Eleven shortlisted candidates will be flown to Hamilton Island in early May for the final selection process and the six month contract will commence on July 1. Job-seekers can apply on . - Islandreefjob.com

My New Year's Resolutions

Every new year, the ultimately hot topic for everyone is about each other's new year's resolutions! There are things that we would like to change about ourselves and we put them as one of our resolutions to be able to really start acting on it as early as January 1. It's the first time that I'll be writing down my resolutions. I just always keep them in mind for the past years. But, I think that writing down your new year's resolutions is one way of helping yourself achieve it.
1.) Save more money. Three more months and I'll be marching up the stage and receiving my high school diploma. For the past seven months at school I still have no savings. Yeah, I know. It's sick. I want to buy something decent for myself as a graduation gift and also to give something decent to my friends during graduation. I want all those 'gifts' to be really from me so I'll really, really save my money.
2.) Dress more ... I don't know what word to fill in. I would like to change the way I dress. I would like to try wearing mini-skirts, high-waisted shorts, day dresses and tank tops to casual days. It's because I'm always wearing my 'default' outfit which is collared shirts, cropped pants and flats. I want people to be surprised on how much I've grown when it comes to fashion.
3.) Limit my computer and cellphone use. Well, as of now, it's obvious that I'm having a hard time compromising with this one but I really, really want to change this habit of mine. I believe that with lesser use of my PC and cellphone, I can concentrate more with my studies and be more in sync with my personal friends.
4.) BE CLOSER TO GOD. The past year, I have been praying not so often. I really think I should make great efforts to really have this one done. I believe that we should not just pray when we need something or when we are afraid. We all should pray for the reason that we are all here, alive and kickin'. Also, when we overcome our fears, it is God's name which we must call first. Thank Him, he made you brave. I'm really trying my best to pray each day and even everytime I have the chance to. It's really effective. Faith is what will definitely keep you survive the upcoming trials all year round! What are your new year's resolutions? ♥Sara

 Dreams do come true.
I passed the ACET! :) When you get to senior year, you are technically obliged to take entrance tests for different universities. During this stage, you will definitely have a so-called dream school. It is the school you really, really want to pass so bad that you happen to actually get sick thinking about it. (Well, I did get sick the night before the test.) Waiting for the results kill you. There would be times that it would slip your mind and you go on with your life but there would also be times when you can't think of anything else but passing for it. It's hard, emotionally and even physically. Waiting, as I've said, is a killer but knowing that the results are just a click away, is much much worse. You would be tempted to see if you passed but clicking the "Search/OK/Next" or whatsoever button will be torture. You want it but you don't want to want it. Weird, right? But then again, always remember to keep your faith. With a strong faith, nothing is impossible. I believe that God won't let me down and so I clicked it and my dream of getting in at the Ateneo came true with one click. I love God and I really know that He loves me more. The fear of failure will be removed when you believe in Him. He will not let you down. :) (Note: I'm excited to graduate because of this. Haha!) ♥Sara

the blogger Name: Mary Sara Gremille Gender: Female Sign:
Virgo Location: Cainta, Rizal Hello! I love writing so I put up this blog. I don't write on a regular basis. Whenever I’m feeling it and
there's internet connection, I blog. There are a lot of things I blog about. The things I watch, the vacations I go on to and my digital creations. I'm a big
Miley Cyrus fan so you might see entries about her and her songs here. I love watching Heroes. I am interested in pop culture. I am a junior BS Life Sciences major
at the Ateneo de Manila University. Someday, I can see myself as a successful cardiologist. I love travelling and USA, Greece and the Philippines are
the three countries that I would like to take a tour in. Photography is just one of the things I do for fun and I'm not really serious about it. My love for
being behind the camera is just as much as I love being in front of it. I have a lot of dreams and I will do everything just to reach them. I have many
fears, too. One weird thing about me is that I am afraid of baby dolls. There are also a lot of things I adore. I love shoes, chocolate, pink, books, show
business and a lot more. I can say that I'm an above average student. I like Science, Computer and most especially English. I don't hate Math but I just
don't like it as much as I like the other three subjects I have stated. I was born and raised in Pangasinan. Although it is a province, I am proud of being
there. There are a lot of advantages, you know. I don't have a big clique with my high school friends. Actually, it has always been just me and my best
friend. We just happen to be really friendly. Haha! We go with girls who have their own cliques but we sure get along. I prefer chilling out in one of my
friends' houses than going to the mall. I love watching movies be it animated, drama, comedy or romance. I'm not picky when it comes to food. I eat a lot of
things. This explains my current body built. Alright, now you are oriented with who I am. Just keep on reading my posts for you to know me even more. ;)
