The first time you slow dance with somebody, have an excuse to doll yourself up as much as you can and feel and act like a princess, JUNIOR PROM, could be the sweetest moment you could ever cherish in your teenage years. Junior prom introduces you to being open to socialize with other people while being very comfortable. During your junior prom, you get to experience being a real lady. It's like a transcendence period for you, too.

The feelings you may have felt during junior prom are far from what you would feel on senior prom. The excitement you may have felt pre-prom last year could vanish just like what happened to me this year. Instead of getting all psyched up during your gown-fitting/sho-hunting, you would suddenly feel lazy. It's not just pre-prom though that differs from last year.

During prom night, you wouldn''t care choosing who you want to be your first, second, third or nth dance would be. All you want is to dance with all your batchmates and enjoy the night. You want to take too many pictures instead of walking by the judges to make you a finalist. You wouldn't care about the awards as much as you did last year. What you want is a night to remember, a night to keep in your heart when you start to leave the portals of your high school.

Also, last year, having an overnight stay isn't much of a big deal to you. You might even choose going straight home than staying and getting a picture of everyone with you. But this year, you would really try your hardest to convince your parents to let you stay with your friends. I have a story.

A friend of mine wanted to join us during oour overnight stay but she wasn't allowed by her parents. Instead, she bargained with them to allow her join us during our after-prom gimmick. After our gimmick, her parents generously offered to drive us back to our hotel. We first went to my friend's house to change wheels because we were on a pick-up and her parents think that it's starting to get a little too chilly for us to tolerate. When we arrived at their house, fnally she had the guts to stand up and talk to her parents. (It's a sign of her independence, I think. I'm proud of her because of that.) She said that they should trust her, blah blah blah. Miraculously (HAHA!), her parents allowed her! Yay! So she ran from one side of the street to the other, to get to ther house, IN HEELS! ;D

What I am saying is that during senior prom, you would want to seize every single chance you would get in being with your friends. You would grab each opportunity to enjoy the what's left of your days in high school. I will miss this.
