Written on: 6.26.2009 Time: 7:20:00 PM First and foremost, I offer my deepest of apologies to the people who have been patiently waiting for my college entry. Obviously, school has been preoccupying me lately. I figured, though, that since this is one of the surely many great weeks I will have in the Ateneo, it is time that I publish my first blog entry as a college student. (GOSH. This is giving me a rush! Eep!) DAY 1. It was my first day, so my father decided to drive me to school. But since he was supposed to be at his office at 10, I had to go to school early. My first class was not to start until 11:30 AM but I was already at school at around 9:45. So much for being a very punctual student. Haha! Moving on, Filipino was not really a fun subject, I thought. We had to take diagnostic tests for our first day and knowing that summer has just ended, my brain is basically still on vacation. As one of my EN 11 blockmates called it, "It was bullsh*t!" And yes, I would actually call it like that. "Bullsh*t!" I was very eager about InTACT, which happens to be our next class. Unfortunately, my eagerness was not reciprocated since our professor didn't attend to us, or so I thought. Luckily, I have blockmates that were brave enough to initiate an "Introduce yourself!" instead of dismissing ourselves just yet. Of course, it was awkward, we can't really avoid that. Afterwards, we proceeded to Gonzaga Hall, the school cafeteria. We had lunch together but because we are still technically strangers to each other, it wasn't really that kind of lunches I always had during high school. Technically, the first half of my first day of school was already up. English and Literature were my last two classes for the day. My English blockmates are generally friendly but since they're most Management Engineering students, it's only during English and Literature hours that I actually get to speak and see them. Although school was over for that day, my most feared part of the day was yet to come. I was really, really, really afraid of commuting. It was my first day and it was my first time. Good thing, it all turned out to be fine and easy. THANK GOD! ;) -------- I really won't elaborate on the things that had happened during my first week. I believe there are things better left unpublished to the public. Anyway, I'll just make comments and not kwento. From 1 to 10, many might think that I will rate my first week as a ten for I have been blogging about how cool it would be to become a college student and all that's entailed to it. Honestly, my first week, in general is just a 5. Now, you may think of my college experience, so far is horrible. You're wrong. I have my reasons for rating my first week a five. Reason no. 1: The rained drenched and damaged my newest pair of jeans and my feet had blisters. I loved those jeans! :( I thought of them as my newest 'bestfriend' pair, you know the one you use when you are want to look effortless chic and yeah, without really exerting effort; the one you use when you'll travel and you want to move freely; the one you would wear when your crush calls you up and ask you out just because... It was supposed to be that pair but the heavy rain ruined it's hem and it doesn't look very posh anymore. Boo! Another one is one of my biggest pet peeves, blisters. My closest friends know how much of a shoe freak I am! For the first day of school, I wanted to look polished and smart so I wore classic black flats. But since, it was a new pair, my feet had to suffer from blisters throughout the day. It was really, really painful especially that in the Ateneo, walking is really part of life. Reason no. 2: I had to deal with the fact that my bestfriend and I will not see each other at school. I really miss her a lot. She's irreplaceable. I miss how we will be texting each other that whoever arrives first at school will have to wait for the other to get to school before proceeding to classes. (But of course, it really won't apply to us yearlong. My bestfriend's always late for class. Hahaha!) I miss having an eating buddy! It has always been like this, when one is hungry, the other will technically be hungry, too. When one eats, the other one must eat, too! ...and we liked it that way, no matter what. I have many other reasons, but I think they're better kept private. ;) The first week seemed a month already. Hahaha! No! I am not, in any way, exxagerating! My friends in the Ateneo say so, too! In contrast though, the totality of this week is equal to one day for the first week. It seems really, really fast! Also, in contrast with my first week, I can give this week a rating of 8. It's not yet a 10 because I think it can still get better and better and better and better... In conclusion, college has really been really interesting. There are many tweaks and turns during this period of adjustment I am in but I'm enjoying the ride. Slow and smooth... ♥Sara

the blogger Name: Mary Sara Gremille Gender: Female Sign: Virgo Location: Cainta, Rizal Hello! I love writing so I put up this blog. I don't write on a regular basis. Whenever I’m feeling it and there's internet connection, I blog. There are a lot of things I blog about. The things I watch, the vacations I go on to and my digital creations. I'm a big Miley Cyrus fan so you might see entries about her and her songs here. I love watching Heroes. I am interested in pop culture. I am a junior BS Life Sciences major at the Ateneo de Manila University. Someday, I can see myself as a successful cardiologist. I love travelling and USA, Greece and the Philippines are the three countries that I would like to take a tour in. Photography is just one of the things I do for fun and I'm not really serious about it. My love for being behind the camera is just as much as I love being in front of it. I have a lot of dreams and I will do everything just to reach them. I have many fears, too. One weird thing about me is that I am afraid of baby dolls. There are also a lot of things I adore. I love shoes, chocolate, pink, books, show business and a lot more. I can say that I'm an above average student. I like Science, Computer and most especially English. I don't hate Math but I just don't like it as much as I like the other three subjects I have stated. I was born and raised in Pangasinan. Although it is a province, I am proud of being there. There are a lot of advantages, you know. I don't have a big clique with my high school friends. Actually, it has always been just me and my best friend. We just happen to be really friendly. Haha! We go with girls who have their own cliques but we sure get along. I prefer chilling out in one of my friends' houses than going to the mall. I love watching movies be it animated, drama, comedy or romance. I'm not picky when it comes to food. I eat a lot of things. This explains my current body built. Alright, now you are oriented with who I am. Just keep on reading my posts for you to know me even more. ;) the tweets |
