Written on: 4.29.2009 Time: 3:00:00 PM Whenever I open my Multiply account, stories and blabbering about enrolment welcome me. Almost all of my classmates post entries describing their enrolment experiences and how much these experiences have psyched them even more to finally go to college. I’m not complaining how the Ateneo had set our enrolment dates to be on June. The thing is that time flies just too slow that each day makes me as impatient ever. --- Ok. FINE. I just had nothing to do so I am here in front of the PC writing one nonsense entry again. It relaxes me, actually. Haha! --- Let’s just talk about my favourite TV Series as of the moment, Heroes! :D It’s a TV Series currently aired by NBC at the USA and by CS9 here in my home country. It’s a sci-fi drama about a group of individuals each with special abilities such as invincibility, telekinesis, levitation and teleportation. Currently, CS9 is showing the fourth volume of the series which started on season 3 and sadly, I haven’t finished watching the first season just yet. I have episodes one to fifteen from season one stored in my computer and I’m still waiting for my cousin to give the other episodes to me. My friends are puzzled with why I like watching the series. They know that I’m a little dainty for such shows and they are actually bewildered rather than amazed with my capability to watch such even though I’m alone. I tell them, I’m trying to grow up. Kumbaga sa lalake, I’m trying to man up a little. There’s nothing very gross about it anyway. So far, from what I have watched, the grossest scene that I have encountered yet was the one showing the victims of Jessica Sanders. Cutting it short, I’m giving you 3 reasons why you should watch it! 1.) The twists are very puzzling and they will definitely crack your brain when you try to figure it out. Also, it would surprise you on how each one of the characters are related to each other! ;) 2.) C’mon! There will always be a part of you wanting you had superpowers. Heroes can enlighten your mind regarding the pros and cons of having some. 3.) The guys are cute! Nothing more to explain. Haha! ;) Adios! ♥Sara

As we were having an ordinary lunch at home, my grandmother recounted her insights on high school graduation. As a fresh graduate, I was intrigued with what she had to say. Nanay has always been a wise and insightful woman and lending her an ear wouldn't hurt.
She made me realize how important education really is and that how lucky I am for having parents being able to send me to prestigious institutions. As I heard this story from her, she inspired me to study really hard and have a grab to that college diploma. As a high school graduate, all I have to offer to her as of now is my high school diploma. To some it may be nothing but a piece of parchment paper but to her, it is a fulfilment of her dreams for me and for herself as well. College, I will conquer you. ;) ♥Sara

First, the words to the song are fast and like racing with each other which makes you race with them too! In our language, this is what we call taranta. The song has this certain taranta factor in it. As I have said, the racing words, added to the dance steps and melody of the song, will definitely keep your energy up, up, up! Exactly what you need for an effective workout! Second, it's featured in a hip upcoming movie, Hannah Montana! I'm really a fan, so... At least, when you watch it with your friends, you have the bragging rights that you already know the steps to it even before it came out. HAHA! Pointless and childish, eh? :D Third, Miley can teach you the routine. Okay, 'nuff said. Here's an instructional video featuring Miley Cyrus and Jamal Sims. ♥Sara
Written on: 4.13.2009 Time: 4:42:00 PM Look what I found at Miley's official website! I was like watching Lady GaGa's amazing performance and then I thought of Miley. I kind of wished she would be performing for the show. Then one day, I happen to drop by her site and saw this news article. So mark those calendars and don't miss her surely amazing performance!I love Miley! She always gives a hundred and two percent during her performances. She's just so passionate and loving when it comes to her singing. Many would join the bandwagon and say awful things about her. Those 'joiners' refuse to try to look at her sing, dance and just perform without any prejudices and assumptions about her. She's a great artist gifted with amazing talents. Man, let her grow up! ;) ♥Sara
Written on: 4.08.2009 Time: 3:15:00 PM I know that the feeling is mutual. No, this is not a post about love and relationships. What I meant with "feeling" was that certain desire to press the fast forward button. It's summer and I really am very excited to go to school as a freshman once again. All the preparations that I have been doing for college excites me more and more. Last Thursday, me and my father went to Ateneo. I confirmed my slot and requested for a change of course which hopefully would be granted. Going back, I know that most of my batchmates feels the same way, excited for college. It's as if we want to skip summer and all the boredom entailed with it and start living as a student once again. This was exactly the way I felt last summer. I wanted to go to school and spend quality time with my batchmates and friends. I was excited to be a senior, to apply for universities, to do something productive each and everyday. I was itching to press that fast forward button. But, seriously? When you're there and playing the scene, as you go on forward and far, you would be convincing yourself to look for another button, the rewind button. Well, if only this button would've existed, many could have been using it. This is the irony of life as they would call it. Everyone would like to master the art of pressing fast forward, play and rewind. This for me is wrong, though I feel like mastering such art. This desire ceases the tendency of people to live life to the fullest and seize the day. As Kung Fu Panda have taught me, "...today is a gift, that's why it's called present." We should be glad that we are given today. We have this gift to correct and not redo what happened yesterday. It is nice to dream on and nourish ourselves with aspirations for the future but it would be nicer if we just loosen up and go with the flow and spontanity of today. Whatever tomorrow brings, today will matter as it woould be shaping the 'whatever' of tommoorow. POINTLESS, eh? :D ♥Sara

Written on: 4.06.2009 Time: 3:48:00 PM As I sit here in my dad's office, I thought of checking my multiply account. This has been the longest time that I haven't gone online since January 2009. Moving on, as I signed in my account, the sight of graduation posts and albums welcomed me. It dawned to me once more that high school is finally over. I got a little nostalgic but I chose not to view those pictures just yet. Though I don't cry at school as much as others do, I still feel sad about graduation. Even though many would say that we will still be meeting each other it doesn't change the fact that we won't be together as much as we were before. There are a lot of things high school has given me but there were also things that it has taken from me. I have learned from my teachers, mentors and friends and I am sure that they, too, have learned from me. These are so many things that even a very lengthy post could not tell. As we begin our senior year, we were all psyched about the authority, the superiority, the liberty and all privileges that comes with it. Senior year is basically all about finishing what you have started, patching things up, and having final preparations for college. Honestly, senior year isn't the best, but high school is. In your last school year you finish what you have started. You just continue and put an end to the things you have done before. For in your senior year, you start to take your exit. It's just like having your report printed. In senior year, you take only the final steps. You also have to patch things up. I tell you, it's hard to graduate with broken glasses on your path. For as you go on, your feet will bleed and it will hurt you just more and more. As when you patch things up, you would be able to actually exit the portals of high school with clean, strong feet. They say you need this when you step to college. I regret having kept grudges for a certain friend. Instead of using the last 10 months of being together as time to talk and sort everthing out, I failed to make peace with her. Lastly, senior year is a time to do final preparations for college. On your first months in fourth year high school, you fill out many application forms and do a lot of test-taking. As seniors, it is your dream to enter a prestigious university and passing their tests is one of the greatest challenges you'll have to conquer. There is nothing I can say further about high school. I just have two big but simple words for all the things that has happened to me in high school, thank and you. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Cliche as it may seem but, I am not who I am today if not for all of these. ♥Sara

the blogger Name: Mary Sara Gremille Gender: Female Sign: Virgo Location: Cainta, Rizal Hello! I love writing so I put up this blog. I don't write on a regular basis. Whenever I’m feeling it and there's internet connection, I blog. There are a lot of things I blog about. The things I watch, the vacations I go on to and my digital creations. I'm a big Miley Cyrus fan so you might see entries about her and her songs here. I love watching Heroes. I am interested in pop culture. I am a junior BS Life Sciences major at the Ateneo de Manila University. Someday, I can see myself as a successful cardiologist. I love travelling and USA, Greece and the Philippines are the three countries that I would like to take a tour in. Photography is just one of the things I do for fun and I'm not really serious about it. My love for being behind the camera is just as much as I love being in front of it. I have a lot of dreams and I will do everything just to reach them. I have many fears, too. One weird thing about me is that I am afraid of baby dolls. There are also a lot of things I adore. I love shoes, chocolate, pink, books, show business and a lot more. I can say that I'm an above average student. I like Science, Computer and most especially English. I don't hate Math but I just don't like it as much as I like the other three subjects I have stated. I was born and raised in Pangasinan. Although it is a province, I am proud of being there. There are a lot of advantages, you know. I don't have a big clique with my high school friends. Actually, it has always been just me and my best friend. We just happen to be really friendly. Haha! We go with girls who have their own cliques but we sure get along. I prefer chilling out in one of my friends' houses than going to the mall. I love watching movies be it animated, drama, comedy or romance. I'm not picky when it comes to food. I eat a lot of things. This explains my current body built. Alright, now you are oriented with who I am. Just keep on reading my posts for you to know me even more. ;) the tweets |
