Written on: 5.28.2009 Time: 10:50:00 AM It's weird but I'm going to say it anyway. "I miss school." I am a hundred percent sure that when I'm back to school, or get to school for this matter(I'm going to be in college!), and happen to look back at this entry I would definitely laugh at myself for saying that. I don't know but that's how I really feel. I miss seeing my teachers and friends. I miss staying up late cramming for a project due the following morning. I miss fighting urges to fall asleep in class. I miss wrestling with my pillows for some extra hours of sleep in the morning. I miss it all, the rush school gives and sometimes even the weariness. I guess I'm just tired of my everyday routine. It is true. When you wait for something every second lasts forever. If that's the case, I want forever to end. ♥Sara
Written on: 5.25.2009 Time: 9:26:00 PM Seriously, my blog is having too much Kris Allen in it. I really have to buy a notebook where I should write the things that not many care about; that only I care about. Since, American Idol 2009 is finally over it is time that I get back to my regular Wednesday/Thursday routine. But since Kris Allen won, I guess there would be some changes. Oh, here I go again. I won't elaborate on that anymore. Sorry for that. So, for the next few months, I swear not to write about anything that concerns AI be it any protests or what-so-ever's. I believe the world doesn't have to know every point and every view I have for the show. I think it's one of those things that are better kept to my own self. Okay, we're done here! ♥Sara
Written on: 5.22.2009 Time: 10:45:00 AM Twitter Update: "College is starting to sink out of me. Haha!" Just a few more weeks, I'll be embarking on a new journey. Full of hopes and fears, I will start a new chapter in the book of my life. At fifteen, such a young, naive girl I am. I know nothing about what college has yet to offer me. I have been ecstatic to start becoming a college student months ago but now that I am about become one, I don't know how to feel. I know that I really can't say goodbye to everything high school, be it my friends, foes, mentors, experiences, lessons, everything. It just seems too early for me to put them aside first and give space to what is to come. Almost everyone that I have talked to about college knows how much ready, excited and hyped up I actually am. But not most of them know that deep down in my heart, a tiny, quiet voice is enumerating all of my thousand fears, my doubts and even my regrets. So far, this has been the biggest decision I have made in my life, what path to take. A four-spiked fork was in my way and I really am praying hard that the path I have chosen to take is the right one. Looking back, I think I have made pretty much good decisions in high school and I'm really betting on this one. I really wanted to enter Ateneo the moment it was made known to me regardless of all the praises and favors other universities have given me. I just want it so so bad. Right now, all I can do is wait and see. There are no right or wrong decisions after all. What you do about them indicates whether you are right or wrong. ♥Sara
Written on: 5.20.2009 Time: 4:46:00 PM 10.) A "dark horse" can never pull off as far as where he is right now. Dubbed as this season's dark horse, Kris is said to be holding on to a cliff up to the finale. Compared to Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey, Kris receives the least praises from judges, not that he doesn't deserve any but because he actually didn't come off as strong as the other two. As the competition tightens, it is really obvious how much improvement Kris has been gaining each week. He started exploring more on his craft and he took risks that weren't really expected from him.
He came into the competition as a cutesy guitarist that has soul in his voice. But as the themes for the competition became broader and very diverse, he evolved from that cutesy guitarist to a star who can do music from A to Z. We've seen him sang Remember the Time with the guitar which is far from his own take on Falling Slowly. Two genres with different interpretations, both as amazing as the other.
This has been the first time in my life that I put so much interest with songs from the past. I am a self-confessed pop-culture enthusiast. My playlists are full of current songs, no covers and remakes, just really the new ones. But since I heard Kris sang songs from the Beatles, Donna Summer, Frank Sinatra(although I actually loved Frankie before Kris popped into TV) and Michael Jackson, I became very curious and eventually very much interested in the music my mother grew up with. (Haha! Love you, mom! =P) Right now, my playlist is full of his soothing and groovy covers on old songs.
How did I say this, you ask? One name, Katy Allen. For those who do not know, Katy Allen is the very beautiful wife of Kris. He is 23 and happily married which implies that he is ready to take care not only of himself but a woman that's very dear to his heart and eventually to raise a child or even children.
http://krisallenation.com - I can say that for the past 15 years that I have been breathing, this is the only fansite that I enjoy 24/7. I can hang-out in this site and not an inch of bore can crawl into me. The people are funny and warm. Kris unites us and it's so comforting to know that you are not alone in supporting Kris. In my case, most of my friends are rooting for Adam so I find solace in KrisAllenation. ;)
I think pictures are the best ones to tell you about this.
Who could forget David Cook's "Always Be My Baby" last season? That was a major hit. Filipinos even translated it into our own language. Although I may not be a fan of the translated version, it only shows how much addiction it has inflicted to us, Filipinos. This could(Or should I already say is?) actually happen to Kris' rendition of Heartless. The moment he sang it, everyone started talking about it. It took the world by storm. And though, I feebly disagree, many say it was this that has guaranteed a spot for Kris Allen in the Finale. I still believe that his talent from day one was the thing that has put him to where he is right now.
For those who have been religiously watching the show, it is noticeable how Kris loves plaid. Not too many men can wear plaid polos and look drop dead gorgeous and still keep a certain masculinity in them. Kris is one of those men. And of course, we couldn't ignore the jeans. His jeans helps in showing a relaxed facade while onstage. He oozes with confidence with a plaid shirt and jeans combo. Ugh. Soooo Kick Awesome! 2.) Talent!!! Need I say more? C'mon! Playing two instruments in one night? Being self-taught with the guitar and piano and I think even the ukulele? Having to move people without hitting very very high notes? That is more than talent, I should say. It's a gift.
Such a humble man, Kris Allen. You can see in his reactions how much overwhelming things have been to him. He looks surprised when praised and he never talks back rudely. Kris Allen is a good man. He deserves to be an Idol. Credits to KRISALLENATION for the pictures! ;) KAnation citizens rock!!! ♥Sara
Written on: 5.16.2009 Time: 10:59:00 AM 10 Random Thoughts for today 1.) I'm itching to change my layout. Hff! I hate this stage, having to conceive ideas and find that starting point. 2.) I can't wait to shop for school essentials. The smell of new things is very appealing to me. 3.) My glasses don't irritate me as much as it did a couple of weeks ago. 4.) The 9:00 PM slot of Hannah Montana on Disney Channel is officially replaced by Mr. Bean. I think I have to go to DC's website and check HM's new schedule. 5.) I want to have a portfolio inspired by celebrities and papparazi moments. I'm a superstar after all, eh? Haha! 6.) My new haircut is rocking! 7.) 6 pounds - my target weight loss until June 10. Blah! Haha! This is such a "dream-on" moment. 8.) I can't wait to get my hands on to the June issue of Candy Magazine. June issues excite me big time, really BIG TIME! I want to go back to school pronto! 9.) When we already have that postpaid internet connection - which is taking way tooooo looong... - I will have my Hereos marathon. 10.) Who will be the next American Idol? Go Kris!!! Have a good day people. DONE! :P ♥Sara

Anyway, I'm loving his version of How Sweet it is. Here's a short but definitely sweet line from it: "Everything was just a bore, all the things I didn't seems I've done before. But you brought love in all my days, with a love so sweet in so many ways."I just find it so feel-good. It's soothing and sweet. That's all. ♥Sara
Written on: 5.13.2009 Time: 7:35:00 PM Okay. So, I have seen so many blog entries about American Idol and since I have been a fan of those entries and the show itself, I decided to publish my own entry on it in full courage. May I start with Danny Gokey. So far, many of the entries that I have read aren't from Gokey fans actually. The "Dream On" scream was full of controversy, maybe the most controversial "What?!" performances ever on Idol. Let me try to be fair for him here. I think that Gokey is a really vocally talented guy but I really don't think that he could establish a strong niche in the music industry. His style is wonderful but isn't different. It's fresh but not new. (Although I think that last sentence was rather ironic. Ha!) I just really, really don't get him. Sorry, Gokey fans! Honestly, I tried to like him but we really didn't work out. Ga! That sounded like we're an item or whatever. Haha! Next up, Adam Lambert!!! Go, go, go! Do some fangirl-ing. Do the gesture, you know using your right hand as a supposed fan for you can feel his hotness and the other hand over your forehead to insinuate fainting. There is a so-called Adam craze-slash-fever(craze/fever). What more can I say? Let's see. Hm. He's gay and that dampens his chances of becoming the next American Idol. Oops! I can now slap my face and tell myself how harsh that was. But seriously, that's just all I have to say. He's good and there's nothing stopping him from hitting out of this world notes. He just amazes everyone every week. He's full of energy, creativity and courage to pull off those kind of performances. Oh! But there is one thing! Let's say he wins the title, he is the American Idol, I think that when his record is released it won't be a big hit or as in books, it won't be a bestseller. Come on! I know you can't listen to his voice in your car when you're about to go to the grocery or to run an errand. Lastly, we have Kris Allen. Oh, I am a very, very big Kris Allen fan. So I will be a little biased here. (Doesn't matter though, it's my blog after all, right? ...and you can read the title first. Thank you!) Kris has so much potential to sell records, millions of them. He's creative and hip. He may look like the typical boy-next-door but who knew he could look so stunning and charming when he plays *gulps* the piano! Sometimes, I can picture him performing with a wide variety of artists from Jason Mraz to Justin Timberlake. (Although, Matt Giraud wouldn't be bad, too!) I think, if only Kris Allen was single, he could've secured a spot for the finale. I know deep in my heart, Kris Allen has the least chances of winning; thus the underdog. But I really think that among the three he has the most chances of succeeding in the world out there. People will listen to his music not just hear it or look at his face. Well, I'm... um... I'm a little guilty with the looking-at-his-face part. Forgive me, I'm vulnerable to those kind of smiles. Kris Allen for the win!!! Yay! :D To finish this off, here's a picture of him flashing that smile. ;) ![]() Note: I know that many may react to this blog entry but I really don't care that much. I'm a courageous blogger now. I am writing for myself and not for anyone else. One last reminder, respect begets respect. Whew! ;) ♥Sara

Just a few days ago, I was required by my examining physician to go have my eye checked by an opthalmologist. At first, I was cool with it. I thought maybe she just wanted some sort of clearance from an optha. After three or four examinations for my eyes, I was required to wear spectacles. It's a little depressing to me. Glasses can make or break the appearance of a person. They have the ability to make you look sophisticated but it also has the horrifying ability to make one look old and nerdy. the blogger Name: Mary Sara Gremille Gender: Female Sign: Virgo Location: Cainta, Rizal Hello! I love writing so I put up this blog. I don't write on a regular basis. Whenever I’m feeling it and there's internet connection, I blog. There are a lot of things I blog about. The things I watch, the vacations I go on to and my digital creations. I'm a big Miley Cyrus fan so you might see entries about her and her songs here. I love watching Heroes. I am interested in pop culture. I am a junior BS Life Sciences major at the Ateneo de Manila University. Someday, I can see myself as a successful cardiologist. I love travelling and USA, Greece and the Philippines are the three countries that I would like to take a tour in. Photography is just one of the things I do for fun and I'm not really serious about it. My love for being behind the camera is just as much as I love being in front of it. I have a lot of dreams and I will do everything just to reach them. I have many fears, too. One weird thing about me is that I am afraid of baby dolls. There are also a lot of things I adore. I love shoes, chocolate, pink, books, show business and a lot more. I can say that I'm an above average student. I like Science, Computer and most especially English. I don't hate Math but I just don't like it as much as I like the other three subjects I have stated. I was born and raised in Pangasinan. Although it is a province, I am proud of being there. There are a lot of advantages, you know. I don't have a big clique with my high school friends. Actually, it has always been just me and my best friend. We just happen to be really friendly. Haha! We go with girls who have their own cliques but we sure get along. I prefer chilling out in one of my friends' houses than going to the mall. I love watching movies be it animated, drama, comedy or romance. I'm not picky when it comes to food. I eat a lot of things. This explains my current body built. Alright, now you are oriented with who I am. Just keep on reading my posts for you to know me even more. ;) the tweets |
