Written on: 10.24.2009 Time: 11:25:00 AM You really want to know the real reason why I love Glee? Before you say anything, I know that you're thinking, "Oh, here we go again. Another one of those entries that repeat the extremely hilarious lines of Sue Sylvester or one that says how much Finn and Rachel and Emma and Will should start hooking up..." You're wrong. Those may be good enough reasons but they are far from the true reason why I just love to watch Glee. Here's a video I made from some of the last few scenes in Episode 7. Glee has heart. It is very rare that you can find heart in a TV series nowadays. I love Gossip Girl, really. But the sexual content of Gossip Girl overpowers the real message they want to convey. I am not comparing it to Glee in any way. I am just trying to state how TV shows are starting to concentrate more in bodily desires than what the heart really needs in these times of tragedy. Moving on, Glee never claimed that they can be watched by kids of all ages without PG. Sure! It has scenes like Rachel on top of Puck or Finn's hand lurking inside the skirt of Quinn. The thing is, what leaves a mark on other people's hearts are the scenes like the one on the video. It makes me realize how trust and friendship is important for one to survive. I may unintentionally take for granted the company of my friends but when I finished watching this episode, it occurred to me how much appreciation I should give to my 'friends' - that includes family for me. Rachel may done it to nourish her thing for Finn but having to sacrifice her dignity makes her a great friend even to Quinn. It takes a lot of courage to do that. ...and Finn, I just like how he held hands with both Rachel and Quinn because it shows how much he starts to value both of them. About Quinn, I know many would hate her especially now that she still makes Finn believe that it's his child but you can see on the video how troubled she is. We may see how terrible her doings are but we never really now how she feels about it. It's hard to do the right thing but it's harder to do things right. Who knows what it's like to be her at home, in school? We never really know that's why we have to understand her. This episode made me tear up. After seeing such, I knew exactly why I should watch Glee. ♥Sara

the blogger Name: Mary Sara Gremille Gender: Female Sign: Virgo Location: Cainta, Rizal Hello! I love writing so I put up this blog. I don't write on a regular basis. Whenever I’m feeling it and there's internet connection, I blog. There are a lot of things I blog about. The things I watch, the vacations I go on to and my digital creations. I'm a big Miley Cyrus fan so you might see entries about her and her songs here. I love watching Heroes. I am interested in pop culture. I am a junior BS Life Sciences major at the Ateneo de Manila University. Someday, I can see myself as a successful cardiologist. I love travelling and USA, Greece and the Philippines are the three countries that I would like to take a tour in. Photography is just one of the things I do for fun and I'm not really serious about it. My love for being behind the camera is just as much as I love being in front of it. I have a lot of dreams and I will do everything just to reach them. I have many fears, too. One weird thing about me is that I am afraid of baby dolls. There are also a lot of things I adore. I love shoes, chocolate, pink, books, show business and a lot more. I can say that I'm an above average student. I like Science, Computer and most especially English. I don't hate Math but I just don't like it as much as I like the other three subjects I have stated. I was born and raised in Pangasinan. Although it is a province, I am proud of being there. There are a lot of advantages, you know. I don't have a big clique with my high school friends. Actually, it has always been just me and my best friend. We just happen to be really friendly. Haha! We go with girls who have their own cliques but we sure get along. I prefer chilling out in one of my friends' houses than going to the mall. I love watching movies be it animated, drama, comedy or romance. I'm not picky when it comes to food. I eat a lot of things. This explains my current body built. Alright, now you are oriented with who I am. Just keep on reading my posts for you to know me even more. ;) the tweets |
